What we were told is that on Saturday, 03/29/03, Jason was heading South on Magnolia Ave in Garden Grove. At the residential street, Yorkshire (North of Chapman), a vehicle pulled out in front of him to make a left turn. Word is Jason went instantly and the two men in the vehicle were arrested on Manslaughter charges. The driver was unlicensed and uninsured. We will update you as we learn more.

Also, an important note. After notifying many friends of the accident, we learned that Jason had visited numerous people earlier that day, just to drop by and say "Hi". Most of whom he hadn't seen in quite a while. Funny how most of us didn't know we were really getting to say goodbye.

Garden Grove cycle accident fatal

GARDEN GROVE – A 26-year-old man was killed Saturday night after his motorcycle broadsided a car that pulled out in front of him at the intersection of Magnolia Street and Chapman Avenue, police said.

The man, a Garden Grove resident whose name was not released, was heading south on Magnolia Street about 6 p.m. The car was driving east on Chapman. Police said the driver of the car, who didn't have a license, failed to yield.

Crash With Car Kills Motorcyclist

Motorcyclist Identified After Fatal Collision

A motorcyclist was killed Saturday in a crash with a car at Magnolia Street and Chapman Avenue in Garden Grove, police said. The 26-year-old Garden Grove man was not identified because his family had not been notified. Police Sgt. Brian Eggen said the driver of the car, traveling east on Chapman, apparently did not see the motorcycle heading south on Magnolia.

The force of the impact spun the car halfway around, Eggen said. The motorcyclist died at the scene.
